Hi friends,

Major stock indexes looked at last few weeks' high records and said

I must break you

This is where they closed on Friday (2/5/2021):

  • Dow Jones 30: 31,148.24 (3.89%, year-to-date: 1.77%)

  • S&P 500: 3,886.83 (4.65%, year-to-date: 3.48%)

  • Nasdaq: 13,856.30 (6.01%, year-to-date: 7.51%)

If you panic bought GME and subsequently panic sold GME, or went long on calls which expired last week to try to capitalize on gains, I feel bad for you. Really. Anyway; earnings for next week!

Cisco's dividend yield as of 2/6/2021, is right around 3% annually. That's one of the higher yields amongst other components of the Dow 30. It had a shaky start to the year with its one-year history going back from today not really gaining much steam. If you've been engaging in the Wheel strategy on Cisco during the last year, you would have made some returns in its sideways trend. Who's in the same space as Cisco?

Cisco plays ball with the likes of Hewlett-Packard (HPE), VMware (VMW), Dell Technologies (DELL), and Microsoft (MSFT).
