McDonald's did not deliver a beat this quarter pounder. This could be due to labor shortages, covid restrictions and supply chain issues. Businesses like these rely on these factors to succeed. If their systems are flawed, it can negatively impact their revenue, as witnessed.

AAPL set a record holiday quarter. The iPhone has taken the lead in China and this has helped increase their revenue as well.
